At The Rec, we have undergone many changes in the past two years that have now made all of our spaces usable for a variety of events. We can host events from a kids bouncy castle party up to a full band live show for 200 people! No function is too big or small for us, and with a cosy outdoor space joined onto the building and a two-sized football pitch field also available to hire subject to sporting events, our wide range of spaces are sure to fit your needs.

We frequently host kids parties in our sports hall, which includes football parties using our new goals! We are also able to have bouncy castles in the sports hall, and catering available too. If you are looking to book a kids party with us, please get in touch using the contact form.

Our function hall is fully carpeted and in addition to our Sports Bar, any private functions will be accompanied with a private bar in the function hall. We serve a range of lagers, ciders and spirits from this bar - but if there is anything specific you would like to see on the bar for your event, please let us know and we will try our best to accommodate this for you.
