WELCOME

The Sports & Recreation centre is based near the heart of the Copmanthorpe, on the outskirts of York. The site consists of a sports field with football pitches and a cricket pitch, two parks for the kids, tennis courts, sports hall, a sports bar to watch/ play sports or enjoy a drink, and a spacious car park to ensure there is plenty of parking for any event.

We yearly host Copmanthorpe Carnival, a week long event of events that lead up to Carnival Day where the field homes all kinds of stalls, bouncy castles, games for kids, a big stage for live music & dance, and much more.

The Rec is home to many sports clubs that you can get involved in including football, cricket, tennis, badminton, table tennis, darts, and pool. For more information please email thecoprec@gmail.com where we can put you in touch with the relevant people.
